Plumbing · Cheadle & Greater Manchester
Plumbing done as part of the job, not an afterthought.
New kitchens and bathrooms nearly always need pipes moving. We plan the plumbing with the rest of the work: sinks, taps, dishwashers and washing machines, toilets, basins, showers and radiators, and old pipework replaced while the walls and floors are open.

Pipes in the right place before anything is fitted
Plumbing is the first thing to get right and the last thing anyone sees. If a waste pipe runs uphill, or a joint is buried in a wall where it can't be reached, it causes trouble long after the job is finished.
Because the plumbing is part of our job, alongside the joinery, plastering and tiling, the pipes go where the new layout needs them, at the right stage, and they're checked before the walls are closed up. You're not waiting for a plumber to turn up between the other trades.
Most of our plumbing is part of a kitchen, bathroom or renovation. If you need something smaller, send a photo and we'll tell you whether it's a job for us.
What we do
Plumbing we take care of
Kitchen plumbing
Sinks, taps and waste pipes, plus connections for dishwashers, washing machines and fridges with water supplies, moved to suit the new layout.
Bathroom plumbing
Toilets, basins, baths, shower trays and shower valves, with new supply and waste pipes where they're needed.
Radiators & towel rails
Radiators moved, swapped or replaced during a renovation, and heated towel rails fitted in bathrooms.
Old lead pipes replaced
Older houses can still have lead water pipes. We replace them while the floors and walls are open.
Utility rooms
Supplies and wastes for washing machines, dryers and utility sinks, built into the cupboards around them.
Leaks & water damage
Leaking traps, taps and pipes sorted, and the damage they left put right, from swollen cabinets to stained ceilings.
A note on gas. Moving a gas hob, cooker or boiler is legally controlled work that must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer. If your project needs any gas work, we'll tell you at the visit so it can be planned in.
The part you don't see
What good plumbing looks like
You'll never see most of it once the kitchen or bathroom is in. That's exactly why it matters.
Waste pipes that fall
Waste pipes need a steady slope to the drain, or water sits in them and they smell or block. The layout is planned so they can.
A shut-off for everything
Taps, toilets and appliances each get their own isolation valve, so a future repair doesn't mean turning off the whole house.
Joints you can reach
Where possible, joints are kept where they can be reached later, not buried in a wall or under a floor.
Tested before it's covered
Pipework is checked for leaks before the walls, floors and kitchen units go back over it.
In our customers' words
"The whole lot"
They handled everything: lead pipe replacement, tiling, plastering, plumbing… the whole lot.
Weeks were spent, with people either rejecting the job offhand, or simply trying to sell a whole kitchen refit.
Plumbing questions
What people usually ask first
Most of our plumbing is part of a kitchen, bathroom or renovation, where it's planned with everything else. For smaller jobs, send a photo and a line about the problem and we'll tell you if we can help.
Usually, yes. The main thing is getting the waste pipe to the drain with enough slope. Amir checks this at the visit, before the new kitchen layout is agreed.
Gas work, including moving a gas hob, cooker or boiler, must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer. If your job needs it, we'll tell you at the visit so it can be planned in.
Lead pipes are mostly found in houses built before about 1970. They're dull grey and soft, and if you gently scratch one it shows shiny silver metal underneath. A good place to look is by the stopcock, often under the kitchen sink. If you're not sure, ask us to check when we visit.
Yes. Swapping a bathroom radiator for a heated towel rail is a common part of our bathroom jobs.
Only for parts of the job. We'll tell you which days and roughly when the water will be off, and get the essentials working again as early as we can.
