Fitted wardrobes and storage, made for your room.

Freestanding furniture leaves gaps at the top and sides and never quite fits an older house. We build wardrobes, cupboards and storage to the real shape of the room: into alcoves, under the stairs, round a chimney breast or a boiler, and right up to the ceiling.

Made to measure

Every bit of the space, used properly

The best storage is planned around how you live: long hanging for coats and dresses, drawers where you need them, and shelves at a height you can actually reach.

We measure the space, talk through what you need to store, and plan the inside of the wardrobe as carefully as the doors. Then it's built and scribed to your walls, floor and ceiling, so there are no gaps down the sides and nothing wobbles.

Doors can be hinged or sliding, mirrored, shaker-style or plain, with handles to suit the rest of your home. Fitted storage also stays with the house, which buyers notice if you ever sell.

Storage we build

From a single alcove cupboard to a full wall of wardrobes.

Fitted wardrobes

Wall-to-wall wardrobes with hanging rails, shelves and drawers arranged the way you'll use them, behind hinged or sliding doors.

Sliding mirror doors

Sliding doors save space in smaller bedrooms, and a full-length mirror doubles as a dressing mirror.

Alcove units

Cupboards and shelves built into the alcoves either side of a chimney breast, in bedrooms or living rooms.

Under-stairs storage

Pull-out drawers that use the full depth under the stairs, or cupboards with shelves for coats, shoes and the hoover.

Utility & laundry cupboards

Housing for the washing machine and dryer with storage above and around, behind doors so the noise and clutter are hidden.

Boxing-in & loft rooms

Cupboards round boilers and meters with access kept for servicing, and storage built under the sloping ceilings of loft rooms.

The part you don't see

Built to fit, not forced in

Very few rooms are square, and nearly every wall leans a little. Good fitted furniture is made to follow that, not fight it.

Scribed to the walls

End panels and fillers are cut to the real line of your walls and ceiling, so the gaps stay tight instead of being filled with sealant.

Level and plumb

Carcasses are levelled and fixed properly, so sliding doors run smoothly and hinged doors don't drift open on their own.

Planned round what's there

Sockets, switches, radiators, skirting and coving are worked around and kept usable, not covered up or forgotten.

Access kept

Where a cupboard hides a boiler, stopcock or meter, the access you or an engineer will need is built in.

Storage questions

What people usually ask first

For most rooms, yes. They use the full height and width of the wall, fit round awkward corners and sloping ceilings, and don't leave dusty gaps on top. They also stay with the house if you sell.

Yes. Loft rooms and bedrooms with sloping ceilings are where made-to-measure storage makes the biggest difference, because shop-bought furniture won't fit.

Sliding doors suit smaller rooms where there's no space for doors to swing open. Hinged doors let you see the whole inside at once. Amir will suggest what works best for your room at the visit.

Often, yes. Tell us what you'd like to match and we'll look at the options for doors, colours and handles.

Usually full-depth pull-out drawers, because you can reach right to the back instead of losing things in a dark cupboard. If you need somewhere for the hoover or tall items, a mix of pull-outs and a cupboard works well.

It depends on the size and what goes inside. A single alcove unit is a short job; a full wall of wardrobes takes longer. You'll know the timescale before we start.
